Super-pure Materials from Metal-organic Compounds

Abstract: Work on the preparation of super-pure materials by the decomposition of metal-organic compounds is reviewed. The decomposition methods, and the factors which influence the purity of the elements and compounds obtained, are discussed. The possible applications and the advantages of the thermal decomposition method are pointed out. 69 references.
