Electrochemical Alkoxylation of Organic Compounds

Abstract:
The review considers current problems of the electrochemical alkoxylation of heterocyclic compounds, unsaturated and aromatic hydrocarbons, carboxylic acids, amines, and ethers. Certain alkoxydimerisation reactions are also discussed. The methods used to carry out alkoxylation reactions are considered. Much attention is given to the present state of studies on the kinetics and mechanism of electrochemical alkoxylation. The bibliography includes 119 references.
