Abstract: A systematic account and review of the literature on complexes of azoles is given. Particular attention has been devoted to the problem of the location of the coordinate bond in the azole molecule, competitive coordination in ambident azole-containing systems, elementotropism in a series of N-element derivatives of azoles, and the polyhedral forms of chelate complexes in the azole series.
The bibliography includes 508 references.
