Thermochemical Constants of AIIIBV Compound Semiconductors, and Approximate Methods of Calculation

L. I. Marina, A. Ya. Nashel'skii

Giredmet, Moscow
Abstract: Published data on the phase diagrams and on the nature of melts in the AIII–BV system and on the thermochemical constants of AIIIBV semiconducting compounds are reviewed. Approximate methods of calculating thermochemical constants are suggested: they are based on summing the constants of the elemental semiconductors whose atomic weights add up to the molecular weight of the compound.
