Thermochemical Constants of AIIIBV Compound Semiconductors, and Approximate Methods of Calculation

Published data on the phase diagrams and on the nature of melts in the A^III–B^V system and on the thermochemical constants of A^IIIB^V semiconducting compounds are reviewed. Approximate methods of calculating thermochemical constants are suggested: they are based on summing the constants of the elemental semiconductors whose atomic weights add up to the molecular weight of the compound.
