Abstract: The review deals with studies published during 1960–1967 and partly in 1968 on the applications of thin-layer chromatography. Much attention has been devoted to the description of specific procedures which improve the efficiency of the method. Possible applications of the method in inorganic and analytical chemistry have been noted. The bibliography comprises 228 references.
