Abstract: The properties of highly disperse aerosols of particle size ≤100 Å are described, together with methods for their production and investigation. This class of aerosols, which has not hitherto been investigated systematically, is of great interest for the theory of the formation of condensation aerosols, the problem of atmospheric pollution and the fight against it , rocket technology, etc.
Special attention is paid to the theory of the formation of highly disperse aerosols, their coagulation, the diffusion method for determining particle size, the preparation of highly disperse materials via the aerosol state, i.e. questions to which the Reviewers have paid special attention in their publications. The bibliography contains 48 references.
