Abstract: Data on the methods of functionalisation of C60 and C70 fullerenes published in the past 15 years are summarised. The general analysis of fullerene reactivity is performed. Reactions of nucleophilic and radical addition and cycloaddition are considered in detail. The prospects of using fullerene derivatives as medicinal drugs and photoactive materials in light converting devices are demonstrated.
