Abstract: Data on the metal complexes with bis(hydrazones) obtained from various classes of dicarbonyl compounds are generalized and described systematically. The structure and complexing properties of bis(hydrazones) are considered and the factors influencing structures of the metal complexes are analyzed. The relationships between the structures and physicochemical properties of the considered compounds are discussed.
