Abstract: This review presents the stereolithography fabrication of epoxy and acrylate syntactic foams based on hollow glass microspheres. Physicochemical analysis has been performed on the fabricated 3D syntactic foam items containing different amounts of microspheres. The surface free energies, light transmittance, density of the syntactic foams were investigated. Criteria for the choice of a polymeric binder are discussed.
