Abstract: The thermodynamic properties of polyethylene, polydeuteroethylene, polypropylene, polybut-1-ene, polypent-1-ene, poly-3-methylbut-1-ene, polyhex-1-ene, polyisobutylene, poly-4-methylpent-1-ene, and polydec-1-ene as well as the thermodynamic parameters of their formation reaction in the temperature range 0–600 K are considered. The recommended thermodynamic quantities are presented. The characteristic feature of the variation of the thermodynamic properties and parameters of the formation reactions of polyolefins are described in terms of the compositions and structures of the initial monomers and polymers and their physical state and temperature at the standard pressure. The bibliography includes 115 references.
