Abstract:
The literature data on the electrochemical synthesis of phosphorous acid and phosphoric acid esters from elemental phosphorus are surveyed. The possible mechanisms of the electrode processes are discussed. The procedures for the employment of electrolysis in the preparation of various derivatives of phosphorous acid esters are examined. The bibliography includes 63 references.
