The reactivity of metal β-diketonates in the thermal decomposition reaction

Characteristic features of the thermal decomposition of Group I-IV metal β-diketonates are surveyed and analysed. A systematic account is given of data concerning the influence of the nature of the metal and of the substituent in the β-diketone on the volatility of the metal β-diketonates and the kinetics and mechanism of their thermal decomposition. The bibliography includes 95 references.
