Abstract:
The review deals with the properties of solid and polymeric electrolytes incorporating (co)polymers or mixtures of polymers and copolymers doped with inorganic lithium salts. Such electrolytes are used for lithium chemical power sources. Attention is concentrated on the methods for the modification of the structure and composition of these systems by means of amorphous and network (co)polymers, additives promoting conversion into an amorphous form, crown-ethers, plasticisers, and ceramic powders, which increase the ionic conductivity of polymeric electrolytes. The methods for the preparation of thin films of polymeric electrolytes by plasma polymerisation and also procedures for the modification of the electrodes of lithium chemical power sources with polymeric electrolytes are considered. Data on the ionic conductivities of the systems described are presented. The bibliography includes 129 references.
