Abstract: The results of the spectroscopic studies (IR absorption, spontaneous Raman scattering) on orthophosphates of Group I–III elements are presented. The characteristic features of the vibrational spectra and the influence of the characteristics of the crystal structure on such features are discussed. The bibliography includes 58 references.
