Abstract: The results of studies on the interactions of diazoalkanes with transition metal complexes are presented and the successive transformations of the diazoalkane complexes formed are traced. The reactions have been classified in terms of the proposed mechanism and the structure of the products. The principal structural parameters of the diazo-ligands are presented. The bibliography includes 145 references.
