Abstract: We shell discuss the transport of charge carriers (electron and holes) in disordered polymeric dielectric matrices and electroluminescence phenomena in transport layers of various structures, and also the injection of charges into transport layers through a boundary bearing a solid layer of a different type. The temperature, field, and concentration dependences of the mobility of the carriers will be considered, as well as the effect of the structure of the polymer matrix and of the transport centres on the mobility. The most reliable, theoretical models of charge transport in these media will be examined. The bibliography includes 150 references.
