Coordination-radical (co)polymerisation of vinyl monomers in the presence of organic compounds of Group III–V elements
D. F. Grishin N. I. Lobachevski State University of Nizhni Novgorod
Abstract:
The influence of catalytic amounts of organic compounds of Group III–V elements on the initiation stage and chain propagationd in the (co)polymerisation of vinyl and certain other monomers is discussed. The question concerning the formation of complexes by the monomers and growth radicals with organoelement additives are examined. Examples of the practical application of the coordination-radical (co)polymerisation with participation of organic compounds of Group III–V elements, including peroxides, in the synthesis of high-molecular-mass substances, including the copolymers of vinyl monomers and olefins as well as alternating copolymers based on acrylates, are presented. The bibliography includes 105 references.
