Abstract: The data on the synthesis of organic compounds containing the difluoromethylenephosphonate group are analyzed and generalized. The attention is focused on the introduction of this group into various organic molecules and subsequent transformations of the compounds thus formed. Individual sections are devoted to the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds and analogues of natural substances containing difluoromethylenephosphonate groups.
