Abstract: The use of heteropolycompounds (heteropolyacids and their salts) as acid and oxidation catalysts of fine organic synthesis reactions is examined. The use of the heteropolycompounds in the synthesis of antioxidants, medicinal preparations, vitamins and other products produced on a small scale is discussed. Examples of the practical application of catalysis by heteropolycompounds are presented. The bibliography includes 177 references.
