Abstract: Data on the synthesis chemical reactions of acetylcyclopropane are presented. A systematic account is given in terms of the reactions of the functional groups of the above compound (methyl, carbonyl, and cyclopropyl). The extensive possibilities of acetylcyclopropane as a convenient five-carbon building block in organic synthesis are demonstrated. The bibliography includes 268 references.
