Abstract: Data on the methods of 2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-pyrido[4,3-b]indoles synthesis has been surveyed. The synthetic accessibility of various derivatives of these heterocycles has been demonstrated. It has been shown that such compounds exhibit a broad spectrum of pharmacological activity and hold interest for medicinal chemistry.
