Abstract: Experimental data on the separation of substances by extraction, based on differences in the rates of their extraction, have been given. The physicochemical principles of dynamic separation have been examined. Approaches to the mathematical modelling of the process have been described, and specific models have been analysed. The bibliography includes 231 references.
