Abstract: The methods of synthesis of insect juvenile hormones and their natural and synthetic analogues (juvenoids) are considered. Much attention is paid to juvenoids of the 2,4-dienoate class, including oxa and aza derivatives and cyclic and heterocyclic compounds, which display selective activity towards vairous forms of insect. The bibliography includes 263 references.
