Abstract:
The review is devoted to the formation and other reactions of macromolecules using silylated monomers and reagents. The methods of synthesis, reactivities, and other properties of silylated monomers of different classes are examined. Polycondensation and polyaddition processes, on the one hand, and polymerisation processes leading to the formation of macromolecules, on the other, are analysed. Reactions in the chains of polymers involving silulated monomers and reagents are also described. The bibliography includes 165 references.
