S. M. Shevchenko, A. G. Apushkinskii Saint-Petersburg Forest Academy
Abstract:
Modern ideas about the stereoelectronic structure of quinone methides and their reactivity and role as intermediates in the lignification and delignification of wood are treated systematically. A special section is devoted to the method of synthesis of model quinone methides in lignin. The bibliography includes 249 references.
