Abstract: Picosecond pumping was used to excite for the first time multifrequency parametric Raman oscillation in a crystal of leucosapphire α-Al2O3 based on the SRS-active vibrational mode Ag1 with νR ≈ 419 cm–1. The recorded Stokes (up to seven) and anti-Stokes (up to six) SRS components were identified.
