Abstract:
The results are presented of experimental investigations and calculations of the characteristics of photoionization excimer lasers as a function of the preionization conditions, charging voltage, and partial composition of the gas mixture. Optimal operating conditions were determined under which the lasing energy of the $KrF$ molecules was 1 J.
