Investigation of $Ti$-diffused waveguides in $Z$-cut $LiNbO_3$ crystals

Abstract:
An investigation was made of titanium diffusion in $Z$-cut $LiNbO_3$, crystals. Parameters of the $Ti$ diffusion process in these crystals in an argon atmosphere were determined experimentally. The data obtained can be used to fabricate waveguides with predictable optical properties.
