Resonance radiation stabilization of ionic and atomic beams

Abstract: The balance equation for the radial forces is used to investigate the equilibrium properties of ionic and atomic beams stabilized by resonance laser radiation. The conditions for implementation of the proposed model of resonance radiation stabilization of beams are determined.
