Abstract:
An analysis is made of the method for constructing a system for the imaging of coherently illuminated objects by the method of multifrequency intensity interferometry in which an object is illuminated and a reference source is formed using two independent lasers and a correlation function is recorded at a beat frequency. The results are given of experiments involving recording and reconstruction of images of one-dimensional objects. The patterns obtained are free of background in the zeroth diffraction order.
