Abstract:
Analytic calculations are made of thermal strains in disk, cylindrical, and rectangular active elements made of KCl, LiF, and CaF2 crystals, used in color-center lasers. Expressions are obtained for the thermooptic characteristics and calculations are made of their numerical values.
