Full-text PDF (595 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A calculation is made of the effects of the anisotropy of the amplifying properties, and of the threshold and output characteristics of a dye laser in a liquid-crystal matrix. An analysis is made of the possible applications of these effects in studies of the statistics of liquid crystals and in polarization measurements.
