Abstract: A proposal is made that pseudorandom binary signals be used as key words in an associative holographic memory because this extends considerably the range of different key words. An experimental check is reported of generation of key words with the aid of optically controlled transparencies, and of the correlation characteristics of some pseudobinary signals.
