Design of electro-optic deflectors with a controlled angle of internal reflection

Abstract: Equations are derived for determining the optimal orientation and calculating the efficiency of an electro-optic crystal deflector with a controlled angle of internal reflection. The equations apply to crystals of any suitable class.
