Abstract: The problem of reflection of an electron from an impermeable wall in the presence of a strong monochromatic electromagnetic wave is formulated and solved numerically. It is shown that the probability of the excitation of a state corresponding to the absorption of n photons has threshold features and that radiation is absorbed on reflection of an electron from a wall.
