Investigation of energy transfer in photosynthetic organisms

Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of energy transfer processes in various photosynthetic organisms. The results indicated that the transfer mechanism was resonant. The duration of the fluorescence emitted from specimens of reaction centers in purple bacteria was 15 psec.
