Thermal self-interaction of a strong electromagnetic wave in ferroelectrics

G. M. Genkin, V. V. Zil'berberg, N. V. Shchedrina
Abstract: An investigation is reported of the self-interaction of a strong electromagnetic wave near the temperature of a structural phase transition in a ferroelectric. It is shown that in the infrared range of wavelengths the thermal self-interaction is dominated by the direct interaction of critical phonons with an electromagnetic wave.
