Optimization of laser amplifiers with spatial filtering. I. Graphoanalytic determination of energy parameters of a system comprising a laser amplifier and spatial filters

V. V. Lyubimov
Abstract: A system of diagrams is proposed for the calculation of the energy and shape of a pulse emerging from a system comprising a laser amplifier and spatial filters. The calculations are based on the input energy and shape of a pulse and on the small-signal gain subject to allowance for the losses in the active medium and for nonlinear losses in spatial filtering of the output signal.
