Abstract: The energy of nitrogen laser pulses (1.5×10–5 J) was measured by the chemical actinometry method, i.e., the amount of the products of photolysis of potassium ferric oxalate was determined photometrically. The quantum efficiency of photolysis induced by laser radiation was in good agreement with the quantum efficiency reported for conventional light sources.
