Electron-beam-controlled carbon dioxide laser operating under pulse repetition conditions

Abstract: A description is given of a 10-liter electron-beam-controlled CO2 laser operating at atmospheric pressure and emitting pulses at a repetition frequency of 5 Hz. The specific energy output of this laser is 0.015 J/cm3 and the efficiency is 10%.
