Characteristics of the stimulated emission from iodine atoms in pulsed magnetic fields

I. M. Belousova, B. D. Bobrov, V. M. Kiselev, V. N. Kurzenkov
Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of pulsed magnetic fields on the characteristics of the stimulated radiation resulting from the 2P1/22P3/2 transition in iodine atoms. It was found that pulsed magnetic fields could be used to modulate the gain and the output power of this iodine laser.
