Cherenkov laser under conditions of total internal reflection in a magnetostatic field

Abstract: An analysis is made of the mechanism of amplification of an electromagnetic wave propagating in a planar waveguide when an electron beam with angular and energy spreads propagates over its surfaces in a magnetostatic field. Numerical estimates are made of the gain in the optical frequency range.
