Abstract:
An analysis is given of the design of dye lasers with cylindrical and spherical focusing holographic gratings mounted inside the resonator in accordance with the Littrow and Wadsworth schemes. It is shown that the tuning range of the emission wavelength is maximal for an autocollimation position of a focusing grating so that it is an optical conjugate of a holographic lens. A report is given of measurements of the following laser parameters: the tuning range (200 nm), the half-width of the emission line (0.1 nm), the pulse duration (20 ns), and the pulse energy (10 – 3–10 – 4 J).
