Influence of fluctuations on an attractor in the model of a single-mode laser

Abstract: It is shown that a noise interaction flattens instantaneous jumps of the field phase, which are typical of a Lorenz attractor. It is demonstrated that noise causes a Lorenz attractor to diffuse in the phase space representing a single-mode laser.
