Abstract:
A two-mode operating regime was achieved using a cw color-center laser with an intermode frequency spacing of 150 MHz. The intermode beat signal was recorded. The width of the beat spectrum did not exceed 2 kHz. The beat signal was used to lock the length of the laser resonator and the intracavity interferometer.
