Chemical and excimer lasers

Supersonic mixing CO chemical laser with an equilibrium source of CS and S

Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of a supersonic mixing CO chemical laser with an equilibrium source of CS and S, based on thermal dissociation of carbon disulfide molecules in nitrogen heated to a high temperature using a pulsed arc plasmatron. An output power of ~730 W and a specific output energy of ~13 J/g were obtained.
