Conditions for cw stimulated emission from a solid-state ring laser with a nonlinear absorber

A. V. Dotsenko, E. G. Lariontsev
Abstract: A theoretical investigation is made of the competition between the opposite waves and the laser action conditions in a rotating solid-state ring laser with an intracavity bleachable filter. The amplitude and frequency characteristics of the ring laser are also analyzed. The conditions under which the use of a bleachable filter ensures efficient suppression of the competition between the opposite waves and stable beat conditions are determined.
