Image scanning

V. I. Balakshii, I. Yu. Galanova, V. N. Parygin
Abstract: A theoretical and experimental study was made of systems for scanning of image-carrying light beams. Two variants of such scanning systems (one- and two-lens) were considered; they were compared and their properties were estimated. A detailed analysis was made of the operation of a scanning system with an acoustooptic deflection cell. An experimental study was made of a system with a field of view of 5.8 mm size and a resolution of ~60 lines/mm.
