Abstract: An yttrium scandium gallium garnet crystal activated with chromium, thulium, and holmium ions was investigated. A differential Iasing efficiency of 3.1% was obtained (for the 5I75I8 transition in the Ho3+ ions) at room temperature and the emission wavelength was 2.088 µ.
