Abstract: Laser calorimetric measurements were made of the bulk and surface absorption coefficients and also of the total scattering coefficients of KRS-5 and KRS-6 crystals at wavelengths of 0.647, 1.06, 5.5, and 10.6 μ. The minimum bulk absorption coefficients were (3–5)×10–4 cm–1(120–200 dB/km).
